The St Paul’s Cathedral Courtyard is a beautifully kept public garden space, where many people come to sit and enjoy the iconic view of the Cathedral.
Over a period of time the floodlights which illuminated the Cathedral at night, were coming on and off too early, because they were powered by outdated feeder pillars activated by an on-site time clock out of sync with daylight hours.
L & K resolved that by installing new feeder pillars fitted with urban control equipment to enable remote monitoring and improve maintenance management.
The floodlights are now properly synchronised with actual daylight hours and any additional power required, for example, for concerts or stall holders, can be provided instantly via the new feeder pillars.
